Burger Night 2024: Week 3 Events

For the first time ever our burger of the week is not beef or pork but chicken! Why?

Because we started with The Alchemist’s Blood Orange & Ginger hot sauce that we LOVE and then worked backwards to figure out what it would be best on. (Kind of like how we started the farm with the goal of feeding our kids the best we could and then worked backwards to figure out what we needed to do… organic, regenerative agriculture… no small feat on these hills btw.)

“Burger” of the Week: One Saucy Clucker

Seasoned & Fried Chicken Breast
Blood Orange & Ginger Asian slaw
Brioche bun, toasted with butter & brown sugar
Then you add pickles or pickled onions from the burger bar!

If you like chicken sandwiches, you are going to LOVE this BOTW! 🤤

Up-and-coming musician Ethan Schoof will perform from 5:30-8:30pm.

Producer of the Week

Chef Andrew of Alchemist’s Hot Sauce will be on the Farm from 4-7pm with free samples and answers to all your questions!
You may remember Chef Andrew from all the wine dinners he’s cooked for us - maybe ask him when that cookbook of his will be out?! 😂

Live music with Woodland Spring!
One of my personal favorites! In fact, I didn’t realize I loved bluegrass until I heard these guys and now it’s usually what I have playing in the background when I’m tending bar or in the store. So, in addition to more fermented pickles, the world also needs more bluegrass radio stations… I bet there are others like me! Well, maybe 1 or 2…?

Woodland Spring is a high-energy acoustic band from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Tim, Caleb, and Dan come together to form tight vocal harmonies, intricate well-crafted original songs.

We’re sorry we don’t have the gaga pit back up yet, but the post hole digger is here so maybe by the weekend (if nothing goes wrong anywhere else)! 🤞

What I do know is that the whole weekend is going to be PERFECT WEATHER so I sure hope you can join us because this does not happen very often!!! 🌞
