Have a question? We’ve included answers to a few common questions below but you’re always welcome to send us a message. We’re glad you’re here!
For the most accurate hours, please check the footer of our website. That’s one of the few places where we can clearly separate current farm store hours from Burger Night hours, including whether we’re on winter or summer hours.
During Burger Night season, we generally do not close for bad weather, though we may close a few minutes early in rough conditions. In general, Burger Night tends to wind down with the sun, so once it gets dark the kitchen is usually starting cleanup.
We ship frozen meat only within our qualifying UPS ground zones, generally up to about a 2-day ground route from the farm. If you’re outside that area, you can still order many non-perishable items, which ship nationwide for a flat fee. The easiest way to see what’s available to you is to enter your zip code in our online store.
We pack orders frozen in insulated boxes with liners and dry ice, and we pack late in the day so your order spends less time sitting before carrier pickup. Meat orders are only shipped to areas that should receive them within about 48 hours.
Subscribe & Save is completely optional. You do not need a subscription to place an order. It’s simply there for people who want extra convenience, 5% off every recurring order, a free bonus item with each subscription order, and first dibs on inventory when stock is tight. You can skip, swap, edit, or cancel anytime.
Our beef is 100% grass fed from birth to freezer, and our pork is pasture raised outdoors with housing and room to be pigs. We do not spray herbicides on our pastures, and we do not use pesticides, added hormones, or antibiotics in our animals. Our goal is healthy pasture, healthy animals, and as little unnecessary chemical meddling as possible.
No. Our pigs are pasture raised, but they are not on a grass-only diet. Unlike cattle, pigs are monogastric, which means they cannot get everything they need from grass alone. Along with pasture, they receive non-GMO feed from a local mill. We also let feeders run out at times so they keep grazing and rooting instead of just waiting for us to bring them food.
“Spice extractives” is a legally allowed label term used to protect a proprietary spice blend. In plain English, it means the seasoning company does not have to spell out every individual spice in the mix.
For our products, that does not mean preservatives, nitrates, celery-derived cures, flavor enhancers, MSG, or hidden junk are being tucked under that phrase. It may include spice-derived ingredients such as pepper, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, or similar seasonings.
Yes. We offer bulk options and freezer-filling boxes at different times of year. Availability can vary, so if you’re looking for a larger quantity, reach out and we’ll point you in the right direction.
