How to: Nationwide shipping of orders with no meat = flat $9 or free shipping

If the store is telling you we can't deliver to you OR if you are seeing crazy expensive shipping for just one book or tallow lotion, follow these steps:

If you are NOT in our shipping area and it's telling you we don't deliver to you:

  1. When it asks you to Create an Account, enter the farm's zip code 54755.

2. Finish creating your account using all your real info but delivery method MUST be "Pick-up at Together Farms".

If pick-up at Together Farms is not chosen you may receive order minimum errors.

3. Fill up your cart! (just remember: we can ONLY ship you things that do not require refrigeration/freezer temps during shipment).

4. Finish adding your real details: address, credit card (must be added), etc. Hit "Place Order" and you're all set!

Note: the details and dates about when you should pick-up your order are obviously all incorrect, please ignore.

5. We ship out every Tuesday but if it's possible to get it out sooner we will!

Note: depending on our order volume and staffing we may or may not email you a tracking number, feel free to reach out though!

6. As above, we will manually adjust the shipping cost to be the flat rate $9 or free if the order is over $179, and also like above, feel free to double check we did this since it's all manual and feel free to leave an order comment before checking out.

Optional, 7. If you'd like to sign-up for our subscription program (which I highly recommend) then you'll only be able to receive the free spice blend.

Good news: you will only need to set this all up one time, your next orders will be easy peesy. :)

If you ARE in our shipping area but you are ONLY ordering dry goods (nothing frozen/perishable), then:

  1. Place your order.

Yep, that's it. πŸ˜‚

You should be able to create an account and just go through the ordering flow without any issues. If it tells you we do not deliver to you, follow the steps below.

But! Your shipping will (incorrectly) look like it is going to be $20+.

After your order is submitted (no matter what it is) it goes into a holding pattern until we pack it and THEN we finalize it and charge your card, at which time we will manually adjust your shipping to the $9 flat rate (unless you spend over $179 and then it's free). Your card is not charged when you checkout.

However! Since this is a manual process, you should ALWAYS double check our work and make sure we edited the shipping amount. Feel free to leave an order comment reminder as well.

Optional, 2. If you'd like to sign-up for our subscription program (which I highly recommend) then you'll only be able to receive the free spice blend.

Problems??

If you hit any snags, please reach out: togetherfarms@gmail.com

We apologize our software is not smart enough to do this on it's own - someday! But for now we just have to do this small workaround.

We also apologize we do not ship our meat nationwide yet - someday! To be notified when we open up shipping text SHIP to 715-200-8333.

Thank you soooo much!!

How TF Ended Up Nominated in 13 Best Of Categories (Hint: It Was Not My Marketing Skills)

If you ever needed proof that word of mouth is still the most powerful marketing tool on earth, here it is!  Together Farms was nominated in thirteen different Best of the Chippewa Valley categories! That is not a typo. Lucky number 13. Our biggest year yet!  Best Organic FarmBest Family Entertainment BusinessBest Place to Buy MeatBest Food Event (Burger Nights at Together Farms)Best Restaurant for Gluten-Free DiningBest Restaurant for Outdoor DiningBest Special Event Venue Small (Under 100)Best French Fries (Non-Franchise)Best Fried Cheese/CurdsBest Restaurant AtmosphereBest BurgerBest Shop for Gifts (Together Farms farm store)Best Restaurant Worth the DriveBest Place to Impress Out-of-town Guests You might be asking yourself the same question that I asked myself when I saw the list. How in the world does a business that does not post consistently on social media, does not send the Sunday recipe emails like it promises (sorry!), and does not even text regularly keep growing? And how does it end up popping up in all these categories?? The answer is simple: You. Together Farms is on the map because you talk to people about us. You tell coworkers to come out for Burger Night. You drag friends here to see the farm. You tag us in your posts and stories. You create reels that make our place look as magical as it feels in person. You share our meat with your families (and really good friends). You tell people where to find 100% grassfed beef, pastured pork and a really good time. You continue to overlook all our faults.  And when polls come around that help guide locals on where to go and what to do, you take a minute and click our name. So yeah, our marketing basically depends on you gossiping, but it is the wholesome kind. 😊 The Midwest kind. The kind that builds community instead of tearing anyone down. This is small town communication at its finest. As is being demonstrated in the photo.  Being recognized in all these categories is humbling and exciting and maybe a touch confusing for me, but mostly it is a reminder that this place means something to you.  It means enough that you talk about it when we are too busy or too tired or too overwhelmed to talk about it ourselves. That is not something we take lightly. But we haven't won yet!  So if you have a moment and want to toss a vote our way in the categories you think we actually earned, here is the link (or when you are on the Best Of site do a search for Together Farms): https://bit.ly/TFBestOf26 Every vote helps more people find us all year long since the Best Of magazine and website are probably the most used and trusted resources for finding things to do, places to be and people to support around here. We could not be more grateful for the community that keeps this little farm growing. Love you lots!  Steph & the TF Family
