It's Burger Night Week 16 (of 23, so 7 left) and we are going to fill LOTS of bellies with LOTS of deliciousness this weekend! PLUS: we just built a new firepit!! Come see and enjoy it! And the cattle will be up by the farm, so if you like cows, you'll definitely like the views even more this weekend. 🐮 ❤

That's So Corny 🌽

• Farm-made, smoked & slow-simmer Birria meat
• Elote (Mexican street corn)

• Black Garlic smear (black garlic is NOT stronger, but quite the opposite because through fermentation it becomes more complex and umami-y)

Thursday, August 13th

Our Better Together Thursday partner this week is the Mondovi Elementary Backpack Program! 

Every burger purchased on Thursday will help support local children through a $2/burger donation from us. So just by showing up Thursday and eating you'll be helping to make sure none of our local children are going to bed hungry.

Food insecurity is a real thing in our small community of Mondovi. Students know they have access to breakfast and lunch during school days, but on the weekends, they may not have consistent access to meals. The Backpack Program provides students with a backpack filled with nourishment to support students/families who are struggling with food insecurity. HELP US FILL SOME BACKPACKS & SOME BELLIES

If you can't make it out but would still love to help, reach out to the program's coordinator, Jennifer Sandberg, at the Mondovi School District, or reach out about matching our donation. 

Mondovi School will be onsite Thursday evening to share information about this program. 

We will be accepting food & financial donations all weekend!

Donation ideas (any food items that are shelf-stable and children would like to eat): 

• Canned lunches: ravioli, spaghetti, beef stew, etc
• Single-serving items like: pretzels, crackers, etc
• Shelf-stable items like: meat & cheese sticks
• Noodles: mac & cheese, ramen
• Boxes of cereal
• Oatmeal packs
• Granola bars
• Fruit & applesauce cups
• Peanut butter
• Fruit snacks
  

Thursday we also have TRIVIA at 7pm! This week we are playing Name That Tune Across Decades trivia. 

Bring your whole family and all your youngest and oldest friends because we're doing Music through the Decades! 

You need to find someone to cover: 

• the 1970s
• the 1980s
• the 1990s
• the 2000s
• the 2010s

Trivia is free to play with prizes for 1st, 2nd and last place.....all complete with a LIFETIME of bragging rights. 🏆

Friday, August 14th

Friday music, 5:30-8:30: Jordan Bain

Jordan Bain is Singer-songwriter playing original and cover songs spanning blues, country, alt and indie, classic rock, spanning 1922 to 2022. As the lead singer of the band “Save Point”, Jordan is a combination of Beck, Tom Petty, Prince, Jack White, Hank Williams Sr, Grateful Dead and Paul McCartney.

Saturday, August 15th

Saturday music, 5:30-8:30: Zeke Fitz

Zeke Fitz is a La Crosse-based solo acoustic musician covering 90's country favorites such as Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith and Joe Diffie, to name a few. He also covers modern country artists such as Zach Bryan, Tyler Childers and Morgan Wallen. Though country music represents a significant portion of his shows, covers of classic rock and alternative hits are sure to make an appearance, too.

Sunday, August 16th

FREE bingo at 3pm!

Cash jackpots are currently at $5,000 and $10,000.
