Hot Dog & Potato Packs

Ingredients
- (1 pound) Pork Hot Dogs/Wieners
- (3-4 lbs) Red potatoes, cut into slices
- (2) Medium Onions, cut into slices
- (3 cups) Shredded cheddar cheese or more
- (2 cups) Barbecue Sauce
- Non-stick spray or Butter
- Heavy Duty tin foil
- Optional: jalapeno pepper rings, bell pepper strips, wrap hot dogs in bacon (Highly Recommend)
Directions
- Cut foil into about 18" square and spray with nonstick spray if available or put a pat of butter in middle. Top with a hot dog, potatoes, onion, about 1/4 cup of cheese and a drizzle of barbecue sauce. Wrap foil packet shut, sealing tightly.
- Place on a medium heat grill or fire for about 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through.
- Open foil carefully to allow steam to escape.
- To make in the oven: bake for about 20 minutes in a 350° oven (time will vary depending mostly on potato thickness).
- Enjoy!
Notes:
Can also be made with Beef Hot Dogs or Pork Cheesy Hot Dogs. Don't forget the No Sugar Added Bacon or one of our amazing Seasonings to amp up the flavor!
