Good morning from Together Farms!

Wow, so after a pretty tough weather year it looks like we are going to end strong!! How awesome is that?!?

I sure hope you can join us this weekend or next weekend to enjoy a little fall sunshine (both weekends are looking really great right now, but, as us seasoned Wisconsin weather-watchers know, that can all change in 5 minutes).

If you saw yesterday's email you already know the Burger of the Week and why we are doing it, so just a 2 second recap: It's Italian week, the farm is in Naples township in Mondovi (both Italian cities), Naples could be where wood-fired pizzas started, so gotta do a pizza burger.

We do not have a picture of this burger yet and it's so named not because it contains any pesto but because my girls watch Bob's Burgers waaaaaaaaay too much. zoom!

People last night were LOVING this burger!!

LIVE MUSIC with Taylor Peterson, 5-8pm
Taylor Peterson is a singer/songwriter from Northern Minnesota and is something special. Taylor’s talent is undeniable and with her one-of-a-kind sound, she brings music to a space in a personal and authentic way, connecting the lyrics and sound to her listeners on a deeper level.
You can expect to hear a diverse mix of her original music, plus covers by artists like Elle King, Matt Maeson, Tyler Childers, Whiskey Meyers, to Dolly Parton and Lil Wayne.

Live music has been added to Friday night!! Weather is looking perfect!

It's finally Family Fun Day!

12-4pm: Kids meals are Buy-one-get-one FREE.

1-2pm: KIDS MUSIC HOUR with Kori Riesenweber
Join us for a special music performance with Kori just for the kids (well, and kids at heart). This will be an hour of interactive music, movement, stores and fun!!

2-5ish pm River Valley Raptors! 🦉will be here with their owls, hawks and even a fun craft project for the littles!

2-5ish pm Whimsy & Wonder face painting 🎨

2-5ish pm Fun with Flowers with Hands & Feet Farm 💐

2-5ish pm Wine Sampling in the Store with The Fermented Connection (kids can't have all the fun)! 🍷

12-5: all kids stuff on sale in the farm store! toys, books, kitchen tools, clothing, candy (caramel apples!) and so much more! 😲
All day: giant bubbles, scavenger hunts, gunnysack races, free coloring books (with an educational twist), half off root beer floats and more!!

Note that face-painting and flowers will have a small cost (and River Valley Raptors are a non-profit that accepts donations), please bring some cash or plan to stop by our ATM.

LIVE MUSIC from Brian Bethke, 5-8pm

Brian Bethke is an American singer-songwriter known for his silky-smooth voice and lasting impact on the hearts of his fans and listeners. Bethke has release 8 album released with the help of Promotion Music Records & Broken Wrist Records throughout the years. Bethke' s health related battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis has limited his live performances availability so it is a real treat when you're able to see him perform live.

Brian enjoys creating AI images and I think the reason why is because if you look too long at this picture your head will start to hurt and music on a farm in real life, will be the only solution to take the pain away. Kudos Brian, kudos.

UPDATES & REMINDERS

Sunday, October 6th is our official last Burger Night of 2024. We may do pop-ups if the unpredictable weather cooperates and we have no idea what 2025 might bring so plan accordingly!!

The "ish"s are back on Friday and Saturday night closing times since it gets dark early and can get very cold early. If you are coming after 8pm, call or text to make sure the kitchen will be ready for you!

The bar and fire keep going until everyone's had enough though. So no hurry there. :)

And how does it end up popping up in all these categories?? The answer is simple: You. Together Farms is on the map because you talk to people about us. You tell coworkers to come out for Burger Night. You drag friends here to see the farm. You tag us in your posts and stories. You create reels that make our place look as magical as it feels in person. You share our meat with your families (and really good friends).You tell people where to find 100% grassfed beef, pastured pork and a really good time. You continue to overlook all our faults. And when polls come around that help guide locals on where to go and what to do, you take a minute and click our name. So yeah, our marketing basically depends on you gossiping, but it is the wholesome kind. 😊 The Midwest kind. The kind that builds community instead of tearing anyone down. This is small town communication at its finest. As is being demonstrated in the photo. Being recognized in all these categories is humbling and exciting and maybe a touch confusing for me, but mostly it is a reminder that this place means something to you. It means enough that you talk about it when we are too busy or too tired or too overwhelmed to talk about it ourselves. That is not something we take lightly. But we haven't won yet!
