Burger Night week 10

posted on

July 4, 2024

Burger Night is open, rain or shine or rain or storms or rain
Thursday & Friday 4pm-9pm
Saturday noon-9pm
Sunday noon-7pm
The Farm Store is open the same hours AND Monday & Tuesday 10am-2pm

Well, we've got another weekend of questionable weather. But, holy smokes, the flowers are GORGEOUS and everything is growing at an inch a minute.

We've got grass taller than the 4-wheeler! It's crazy (and easy to get lost in...ask me how I know). So that's pretty awesome. We had become very used to drought-y weather.

The fish in the pond are probably really happy too. (We stocked it with perch, bluegill and walleye a couple years ago, after digging it deeper....I get asked a lot.)

All the rain also means NO WAIT at Burger Night!

πŸ€” Buuuut that's about all I can think of for positives anymore. Geez louise.

Oh wait! I have one more.....

I know that a lot of the fireworks and parades around here are cancelled but good news! We can put the fireworks in your belly instead of the sky!!

Burger of the Week:

Firecracker 2.0 πŸ”βœ¨

  • Deep-fried jalapeno slices (gluten-free)
  • NEW for a burst of color: farm-made charred-pepper salsa (roasted bell peppers, tomatoes, roasted jalapenos, roasted poblanos, garlic, onion, cilantro, lime)
  • Pepperjack cheese
  • 100% grassfed beef patty
  • drizzle of buttermilk ranch
  • toasted brioche bun (or make it a bowl!)

Pictured is the Firecracker 1.0 BOTW from last year - but we think this year's is going to be even better!

Prefer fireworks in the sky and not your tummy? We always have our full menu of 12+ other burgers to choose from.

MORE good news:

BOWLS are back!

But different. Instead of a special salad with specific toppings, you'll be able to simply "Bowl" any burger/sandwich. The meat and all the toppings will be served to you in a bowl with salad greens (and -$2 for no fries), essentially you're sub'ing greens for the bun.

Which is great news for our gluten-free, keto, etc friends - and even more good news is that all the gf/keto/paleo mixes and more are on sale in the store too!

Save 20% on the Burger of the Week

Trivia from 7 to 8pm: Cancelled. :( But that means I'm bartending so if you'd like, I can ask you a bunch of questions over a beer. :)

Friday, July 5th

LIVE MUSIC from Matthew Sayles, 6-9pm
Matt's performances bounce from up tempo Telecaster-picked roots country, early rock & roll, roadhouse blues, Americana ballads, and bluegrass, in a style that’s similar to other contemporary roots country revivalists like Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers. A Midwesterner with deep roots in Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, a live show with Matt is a fun, fast paced cruise through modern American roots music, full of good humor & laughs!

Matt doesn't preform many local, solo gigs since he's usually on tour with his band so this is going to be a lot of fun!

Saturday, July 6th

LIVE MUSIC from Allison Dyg, 5:30-8:30pm
Allison Dyg is a Wisconsin based singer-songwriter with a passion for music. Her voice allows her to fit any genre and her eclectic taste in music will please any crowd. She's charismatic and has a quirky sense of humor that everyone will love. Allison started singing at 4 years old and has been performing ever since.
You can expect to hear her singing some of her how tunes and covering artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Miley Cyrus, Shania Twain, Morgan Wallen, Jason Mraz, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen and many others.

Allison is a national treasure and so much fun with a powerful voice to boot!

Our plan for the rest of the season is to only cancel music if there will be severe thunderstorms, so if the rain is light - we're plowing ahead - our season is short, we gotta make the most of every day!

Sunday, July 7th

Family Day! Buy one get one FREE kids meals all day! (12 & under, dine-in only)

REMINDERS

The farm store is full of fun sales with BIG discounts (that's right, we've got the big stuff πŸ˜„) as we try to make room for new product! So you can find meat & cheese mystery bags, 50% off pizza kits and MORE!

The store spotlight is on all our gluten-free and keto mixes, plus macarons, nuts and more!

If you can't make it to the farm, some of the featured items are available online too.

But if you can make it to the farm, you'll be supporting small farmers, family businesses, artists, local brewers and so much more!

Like JFK probably said: Do for your country by eating a burger, drinking a beer and listening to some live music on a farm.

Hope to see you on the farm!

How TF Ended Up Nominated in 13 Best Of Categories (Hint: It Was Not My Marketing Skills)

If you ever needed proof that word of mouth is still the most powerful marketing tool on earth, here it is!  Together Farms was nominated in thirteen different Best of the Chippewa Valley categories! That is not a typo. Lucky number 13. Our biggest year yet!  Best Organic FarmBest Family Entertainment BusinessBest Place to Buy MeatBest Food Event (Burger Nights at Together Farms)Best Restaurant for Gluten-Free DiningBest Restaurant for Outdoor DiningBest Special Event Venue Small (Under 100)Best French Fries (Non-Franchise)Best Fried Cheese/CurdsBest Restaurant AtmosphereBest BurgerBest Shop for Gifts (Together Farms farm store)Best Restaurant Worth the DriveBest Place to Impress Out-of-town Guests You might be asking yourself the same question that I asked myself when I saw the list. How in the world does a business that does not post consistently on social media, does not send the Sunday recipe emails like it promises (sorry!), and does not even text regularly keep growing? And how does it end up popping up in all these categories?? The answer is simple: You. Together Farms is on the map because you talk to people about us. You tell coworkers to come out for Burger Night. You drag friends here to see the farm. You tag us in your posts and stories. You create reels that make our place look as magical as it feels in person. You share our meat with your families (and really good friends). You tell people where to find 100% grassfed beef, pastured pork and a really good time. You continue to overlook all our faults.  And when polls come around that help guide locals on where to go and what to do, you take a minute and click our name. So yeah, our marketing basically depends on you gossiping, but it is the wholesome kind. 😊 The Midwest kind. The kind that builds community instead of tearing anyone down. This is small town communication at its finest. As is being demonstrated in the photo.  Being recognized in all these categories is humbling and exciting and maybe a touch confusing for me, but mostly it is a reminder that this place means something to you.  It means enough that you talk about it when we are too busy or too tired or too overwhelmed to talk about it ourselves. That is not something we take lightly. But we haven't won yet!  So if you have a moment and want to toss a vote our way in the categories you think we actually earned, here is the link (or when you are on the Best Of site do a search for Together Farms): https://bit.ly/TFBestOf26 Every vote helps more people find us all year long since the Best Of magazine and website are probably the most used and trusted resources for finding things to do, places to be and people to support around here. We could not be more grateful for the community that keeps this little farm growing. Love you lots!  Steph & the TF Family
