Hello from Together Farms!

Welcome to August! And another dill-lightful week of enjoying a Midwest summer weekend on a farm with some burgers, beers and live music.

Obviously, I can only be talking about Together Farm's Burger Night.

First and foremost, we just opened a brand new box of PULL-TABS!! That means all the winners are restocked and ready for you to find them!

And that is probably where I could stop this email for most of you, but if you need even more reasons to come out, well buckle-up buttercup because we've got a super fun weekend planned for you and if you, or someone you know, LOVES pickles - this is the weekend that simply can NOT be missed!!

Burger of the Week: Kinda A Big Dill 🥒

We have tweaked it ever so slightly from last year's version, but we think you'll like it even more.

TF dill pickle queso (with dill from the herb spiral!)
our own pickle de gallo
frickles (pickle fries)
100% grassfed beef patty
uncured applewood smoked bacon
toasted, buttery brioche bun

The love of dill & pickles does not end with the burger. The farm store is FULL of super fun stuff and free samples of our dill dip (while supplies last!).

In the store we will have dill pickle making kits, dilly kraut, mustards, pretzels, cheese curds, pickles, stickers, cookbooks (yes, specific to pickles) and more! You can find some items online too.

In the farm store only you will also find our $12.99 Bundle of the Week featuring salmon, local pickle relish and crackers. The perfect little dill-icious snack. 💚

And! We just got in a TON of NEW products including pickled beets from Fed Up Foods! And there's also new mugs, shirts, books and candles; but my favorite new items are the above-average spoon rings & bracelets....I LOVE them. 🤩 Check 'em out and let me know what you think.

Trivia at 7pm: Star Wars

I will be honest with you (as I often am....usually a little too much) and let you know right off the bat that I will be the dumbest person in the room re: Star Wars. Luckily for me, I will also have the answers. So expect a lot of mispronunciations and humor at my expense tonight. 😏

First and foremost: Happy Birthday Mom!! 🎉 (She's our #1 fan and if you see here floating around the farm this weekend, be sure to tell her HBD along with "there's no way you're old enough to be Steph's mom!?".)

LIVE MUSIC from Abby Spencer, 6-9pm

Abby Spencer is not a new name in music. She has a unique sound which has been developing since she was just 10 years old. And chances are if you’re into the Wisconsin Dells area nightlife you have probably already been introduced. She has opened for national acts like Derek Jones, Jamie Lin Wilson, Courtney Patton, Alex Williams, The Plott Hounds and more.

She considers herself country with a gritty undertone, and identifies with artists like Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Ashley McBryde.

LIVE MUSIC from Blaine & Leah, 5:30-8:30pm

Blaine and Leah Howard are an acoustic duo from Fairchild, Wisconsin who play a harmony rich blend of Americana, folk, pop, and rock. For this performance, Blaine is joined by his wife Leah on acoustic guitar and vocals. The duo’s set includes award-winning originals and an eclectic mix of covers spanning six decades of pop, country, rock and folk. They share creative versions of songs by artists like John Denver, Journey, Cyndi Lauper, Van Morrison, Indigo Girls, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Gillian Welch, and Chris Stapleton

Quick update. If you wanted to come to the Mushroom Foray but missed it, they found nearly 80 shrooms in about 2 hours including some that were last seen in Colombian rainforests 40+ years ago (told you it's raining a lot) and that are very, very rare (something about growing on dead moths). Andy found ghost pipes even. Everyone left very happy! Once I get the full list of what was found, I'll share it. We'll do it again next year!

How in the world does a business that does not post consistently on social media, does not send the Sunday recipe emails like it promises (sorry!), and does not even text regularly keep growing? And how does it end up popping up in all these categories?? The answer is simple: You. Together Farms is on the map because you talk to people about us. You tell coworkers to come out for Burger Night. You drag friends here to see the farm. You tag us in your posts and stories. You create reels that make our place look as magical as it feels in person. You share our meat with your families (and really good friends).You tell people where to find 100% grassfed beef, pastured pork and a really good time. You continue to overlook all our faults. And when polls come around that help guide locals on where to go and what to do, you take a minute and click our name. So yeah, our marketing basically depends on you gossiping, but it is the wholesome kind. 😊 The Midwest kind. The kind that builds community instead of tearing anyone down. This is small town communication at its finest. As is being demonstrated in the photo. Being recognized in all these categories is humbling and exciting and maybe a touch confusing for me, but mostly it is a reminder that this place means something to you. It means enough that you talk about it when we are too busy or too tired or too overwhelmed to talk about it ourselves. That is not something we take lightly. But we haven't won yet!
