It's that time of the year where nearly every business we work with notifies us of price increases for the new year and after not adjusting our delivery/shipping prices for years, it's time.

But it's not all bad news!

Locals & 1-day delivery = free delivery threshold is changing from $179 to $199, starts tomorrow/Monday, mins, etc not changing.

Flat rate shipping nationwide for non-perishables only: will be $12, free at $199, starts tomorrow/Monday.

GREAT NEWS for our 2-day delivery folks, you NOW have a FREE delivery option at $249! 🥳 Mins, etc not changing.

More "good" news - materials and labor are also up everywhere so we are increasing your shipping box credit from $10 to $15!

One last good news attempt for everyone everywhere: you can order our recipe cards easy peesy!

I'm still working out kinks with this, but I'm hoping this can be a digital only monthly option for folks (and a no-fee ticketing option for this summer!). Try it and let me know if it works. I'm building out automation for delivery as you read this (back to being a computer programmer I guess 🙄).

Last but not least: There is a price freeze on any meat increases until Jan 31st.

I am not saying prices will go up across the board or by very much if they do, I need to do some deeper dives on exactly how all these price increases are hitting each animal type and where.

So things may or may not change much or the new bundles + free delivery might mean no change overall, but if any increases need to happen meat-wise, it won't be until Jan 31.

What does all of that mean?

ORDER TODAY if you are local or 1-day to still get the $179 free delivery and to stock up at current prices (which might be future prices, but no guarantees come Feb 1).

If you are 2-day ship ORDER NOW to see what free delivery from us feels like (awesome).

As is pan-frying, but this does add some delicious caramelized bits, so it's all up to your time and interest level in washing another dish vs receiving compliments.

It's a great recipe for holidays or sports games or any fun get togethers. Or, if you find yourself with 4 half-used jars of bbq sauce to use up and a hungry family.

How to Change Your Shopping Location on Our Website Our website uses “locations” to make sure you see the right shopping options for how you want to receive your order. Changing your location can affect what you see in the store (for example, we do not ship eggs), what delivery or pickup options appear at checkout and the dates that are available. When you might need to change your location You normally ship, but this time you want to pickup from the farm. You usually do local delivery, but you want to grab your order at an event or market. You are ordering for a friend or family member in a different area. You are not seeing the delivery or pickup option you expected. How to change your location Step 1: Sign in or create an accountIf you are being told that we do not deliver to your area yet, click "Enter a different zip code" and use the farm's zip code (54755). Choose any of the listed delivery options but "Pick-up at Together Farms" is great. Step 2: Once you are signed in, go to any page of the website and click the [CHANGE] button in the orange bar toward the top of the screen.If you scroll all the way to the top of the page, it's usually near the top 1/3 middle of the screen. It can be easy to miss though, so we've circled it in red below: Step 3: Click Change A location box will pop up. Step 4: Enter your zip code again Yes, even if you already entered it before. That’s normal. Step 5: Select the new location you want Choose the pickup, delivery or shipping option that matches what you need. If you are still having any trouble, you can always click "try a different postal code" at the bottom and use the farm zip code: 54755. Once you select your new option, the store will refresh and you will be shopping that location. What might look different after you switch This is normal, not a glitch: Some items may disappear or show as unavailable Delivery or pickup dates may change Your cart may update if something in it is not available for that location Locations help us keep things accurate so you are not ordering something we cannot fulfill for that route or pickup point. If you do not want to mess with it If you are an existing customer and you do not feel like fighting the Change button, you can do this instead: At checkout, use Order Comments and tell us where you want your order to go, for example: “Please switch this order to farm pickup - see you next Friday!” “Please bring this to the event pickup.” “Please switch my account to shipping from now on.” We will happily take care of it for you! Out of the area? Right now we do NOT ship our meat nationwide, but exceptions can be made if you're willing to potentially share in some of the air shipping costs. For a custom quote, please include the following: Receiving address (we can not ship meat to PO boxes)Estimated total pounds (minimum 10lbs for mass to help with thermal stability during shipping)Specific items you are interested in. Email that info to steph@togetherfarms.com and I'll get back to you asap. We DO ship non-meat products nationwide though so long as no temperatures need to be maintained with the products (note that some items like tallow lotions may not be able to be shipped in the summer to hot parts of the country), you'll just have to choose "Farm Pickup" for your location but leave a note to ship.
