Ingredients
- (1 lb) Ground Beef Organ Blend
- (5) Garlic cloves, crushed
- (1 Tbsp) Ginger, freshly grated
- (2 tsp) Toasted sesame oil
- (1/2 cup) Soy sauce (low sodium if you don't like salty)
- (1/3 cup) Brown sugar
- (1/4 tsp) Crushed red pepper
- (6) Green onions, chopped, divided
- (4 cups) Cooked rice
- (1 Tbsp) Toasted sesame seeds
- (Optional: 1 Tbsp) Gochujang
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring and crumbling into small pieces until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Any excess grease is actually recommended to be left in the pan for a better eating experience.
- Stir in garlic, ginger, and sesame oil and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper. Cook until beef absorbs some sauce, about 7 minutes.
- Add 1/2 of chopped green onions.
- Serve over rice or in a lettuce wrap; garnish with sesame seeds and remaining green onions. Enjoy!!
Can also top with any of your favorites: cilantro, diced cucumber, cabbage, pickled red onions, carrots.
