The roast is flavorful, but like most lean cuts, it can be tough and should be braised or stewed. This cut can benefit from a marinade and from a cooking temp of 145 with a resting period and against-the-grain slicing. The sirloin tip roast can also be used for kebabs or slowly oven-roasted at a low temperature.
Unlike the Sirloin Tip Roast, the Sirloin Roast has a little more fat on it that adds more flavor and nutrition as it breaks down.
