Burger Night Week 11: The Halfway Point

posted on

July 11, 2024

Burger Night is open, rain or shine
Thursday & Friday 4pm-9pm
Saturday noon-9pm
Sunday noon-7pm
The Farm Store is open the same hours AND Monday & Tuesday 10am-2pm

It's week 11 which means we are halfway through the 2024 Burger Night season! Crazy!

So if you haven't gotten here enough (or at all!? 🤨) this is your official notification that it's time to start worrying and making arrangements.

You know who finds a way EVERY WEEK? Jordan and Nikki!

Every. Single. Week. They are here - from 30+ minutes away too! And often with friends.

Last year, they missed one week so then they had our staff deliver burgers to their fridge for when they got back home.

That's dedication. How do you honor supporters like that?! A plaque? A t-shirt? A free drink?

I know! Let them decide the Burger of the Week!

So this winter I asked them what their favorite burger would be and told them no matter what they came up with, we'd do it.

[Then I nervously awaited their response and hoped that they had not seen my April Fools menu from a few years ago....which still cracks me up btw.]

Behold.....

Burger of the Week: Get Jikki Wid It

They decided on a cubano-style burger! (Phew....where would I even get ground bald eagle from?!)

  • 100% grassfed, hand-pattied beef patty
  • Slices of no-weird-stuff-ham
  • Swiss cheese
  • Dijonnaise
  • Pickles
  • On a brioche bun
  • and then all pressed together

We made a cubano-style BOTW way back in 2019 and now we're going to try it again all because Jordan & Nikki asked us to! [Hi Miley! 👋]

Feeling a little jealous because you'd like to decide the Burger of the Week? You know what you've gotta do!

Trivia from 7 to 8pm: Taylor Swift 🤩
To be clear, Taylor herself will not be here (I had a few people ask....I do appreciate that you think so highly of us though!). Even without her here, I have a feeling this trivia is a going to a dang good time. There is even an audio round and you've still got plenty of time to refresh yourself on lyrics and find those Swiftie friends of yours!

But then Taylor can just move her little self on over because Ryan and Tom are coming!!

LIVE MUSIC from Ryan Howe, 6-9pm
Ryan is a multi-instrumental performer; he will be on keys AND guitar and is going to play/sing you some tunes! You are going to love this! Expect to hear songs by Jackson Browne, Eagles, Elton John, Bruce Hornsby, John Mayer, Ed Sheehan, Hunter Hayes, Journey, Frank Sinatra, Michael Bible, Jacob Collier, and a ton more! Ryan also performed the music in an Award-Winning Environmental Documentary called "Decoding the Driftless," and this film WON many big awards, including Best Picture and Best Cinematography at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

If you've had your eye on a piece, NOW is the time to make it yours! Could also be a great time to grab a gift for someone you know that loves pottery and could use a little elevation to their everyday. (Me. I'm that person.)

Sale includes the Grate Plate which is fun, pretty, health-promoting AND saves your fingertips from traditional graters. (And is also a grate gift idea. 😉

Hope to see you on the farm soon!!

Your farmer & friend,

Steph
p.s. Finally! Ground beef, ground beef organ blend and burger patties are back IN STOCK!!! 🥳🥳🥳

How to Change Your Location on Our Website

How to Change Your Shopping Location on Our Website Our website uses “locations” to make sure you see the right shopping options for how you want to receive your order. Changing your location can affect what you see in the store (for example, we do not ship eggs), what delivery or pickup options appear at checkout and the dates that are available. When you might need to change your location You normally ship, but this time you want to pickup from the farm. You usually do local delivery, but you want to grab your order at an event or market. You are ordering for a friend or family member in a different area.  You are not seeing the delivery or pickup option you expected.  How to change your location Step 1: Sign in or create an accountIf you are being told that we do not deliver to your area yet, click "Enter a different zip code" and use the farm's zip code (54755). Choose any of the listed delivery options but "Pick-up at Together Farms" is great.  Step 2: Once you are signed in, go to any page of the website and click the [CHANGE] button in the orange bar toward the top of the screen. If you scroll all the way to the top of the page, it's usually near the top 1/3 middle of the screen. It can be easy to miss though, so we've circled it in red below:  Step 3: Click Change A location box will pop up. Step 4: Enter your zip code again Yes, even if you already entered it before. That’s normal. Step 5: Select the new location you want Choose the pickup, delivery or shipping option that matches what you need. If you are still having any trouble, you can always click "try a different postal code" at the bottom and use the farm zip code: 54755.  Once you select your new option, the store will refresh and you will be shopping that location. What might look different after you switch This is normal, not a glitch: Some items may disappear or show as unavailable Delivery or pickup dates may change Your cart may update if something in it is not available for that location Locations help us keep things accurate so you are not ordering something we cannot fulfill for that route or pickup point. If you do not want to mess with it If you are an existing customer and you do not feel like fighting the Change button, you can do this instead: At checkout, use Order Comments and tell us where you want your order to go, for example: “Please switch this order to farm pickup - see you next Friday!” “Please bring this to the event pickup.” “Please switch my account to shipping from now on.” We will happily take care of it for you! Out of the area?  Right now we do NOT ship our meat nationwide, but exceptions can be made if you're willing to potentially share in some of the air shipping costs. For a custom quote, please include the following:  Receiving address (we can not ship meat to PO boxes)Estimated total pounds (minimum 10lbs for mass to help with thermal stability during shipping)Specific items you are interested in.  Email that info to steph@togetherfarms.com and I'll get back to you asap.  We DO ship non-meat products nationwide though so long as no temperatures need to be maintained with the products (note that some items like tallow lotions may not be able to be shipped in the summer to hot parts of the country), you'll just have to choose "Farm Pickup" for your location but leave a note to ship. For full step-by-step directions go here.  Thanks so much!
