I learned very quickly in my meal kit making workshops that people do NOT like to touch raw meat and most of do not like spending hours on their feet in the kitchen and most of us have dull knives, so guess what? Just open and dump! No need to buy a roast or steak and chop it up, no need to labor longer than you'd like in the kitchen (although some days I do enjoy it....but not every day!) and no need to sharpen your knives! Actually, the last one is not true - there is nothing sweeter than a sharp knife and dull knives are actually more dangerous and cause more injuries. I suppose now that we've cut this up for you, you have a little extra time for knife sharpening. Win-win-win!
