Swapping in better options can mean less plastic, fewer harsh chemicals and less money wasted on cheap throwaway stuff that barely lasts.

Why it matters: a good reusable swap or a better-made household staple might cost a little more up front, but it often pays you back by lasting longer and cutting down on all the throwaway stuff you keep replacing.
