Beef Liver Pate
Want to eat liver but can't bring yourself to eat plain liver? Try Braunschweiger! Our very nutritious beef liver mixed with bacon, is sure to ease you into all the health benefits of liver. It's very hard to find a braunschweiger without all the junk in it! This has no dairy, no gluten, no soy, no preservatives, no grain. Taste is very similar to our pork braunschweiger, does not have a very strong liver taste but pork liver will always be more mild in flavor so if you aren't sure that could be a great place to start! Can be used as-is to spread on crackers, as the main protein on a sandwich or a smear (replace your mayo with it) or you can slice a piece off and fry it in a pan and then fry some eggs in the crispy little bits that are left behind.....delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • (8 oz) Beef Braunschweiger
  • (8 oz) Cream Cheese
  • (3 Tbsp) Green Onions, Chopped
  • (1 Tbsp) Worcestershire Sauce
  • (1 Tbsp) Lemon Juice or Vinegar

Directions

Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Chill and serve on crackers. Or, if you want to get fancy, roll into a ball, chill for at least an hour and then roll in parsley flakes, chives, bacon bits....wherever your imagination (and pantry) take you!
