Locally sourced poultry and eggs from close to home

Our poultry page includes two local sources we’re proud to support: Amanda’s Eggs & Poultry in Elk Mound, Wisconsin and Rise’n Shine chicken from Sami Risen, raised just 1 mile from Together Farms in Mondovi. That means you’ll find both free-range eggs and flavorful chicken raised closer to home.

Amanda’s poultry is produced outside on grass and moved daily, and their egg layers are cage-free in winter. Pasture-raised poultry produces better quality meat because of the sunshine, grass and access to the earth. Their poultry is processed, USDA inspected and frozen for year-round availability.

Rise’n Shine chicken is Sami’s FFA project. Her meat birds are raised with lots of yard space to roam in the sunshine, scratch and peck, creating a thoughtful local option we’re happy to offer.
